The Power of One Makes Three...
Hats off to Integrity recording artist, Israel Houghton, for his third consecutive GRAMMY win for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album. Houghton's third award now joins the other two on his trophy shelf. In 2007, Alive in South Africa received a bow for the "Best Traditional Gospel Album" and in 2008 A Deeper Level snagged an award for "Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album

 
Donnie McClurkin Makes Room For Another Grammy
McClurkin's fifth CD release, We Are All One: Live in Detroit boast 14 tracks, one of which landed a 2010 GRAMMY for "Best Gospel Performance." McClurkin's duet with gospel song bird and label mate, Karen Clarke Sheard, was apparently a stand out for voters making "Wait On The Lord" his third GRAMMY and a great way to kick off the new decade. In 2004, Again was named "Best Soul Contemporary Gospel Album" and in 2006 Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs received a "Best Traditional Gospel Album" award.

GMC's Black History Month Lineup
Gospel Music Channel (gmc) will celebrate Black History Month this February with music and artists that have inspired the world.
In addition to major premiere programming and specials, gmc will also present special vignettes throughout the month featuring artists including Marvin Sapp, Byron Cage, Canton Jones, Ricky Dillard, Beverly Crawford, The Murrills and Angella Christie reflecting on the events and historical figures in the Black Community that have shaped their lives personally and professionally.

Jonathan Nelson Preps for Live Recording 
Singer, songwriter, and Integrity Music artist Jonathan Nelson is gearing up for a new live recording. The session takes place in Nelson's new church home, The Faith Center, in Sunrise, Florida on February 26, 2010. This third recording will again feature Nelson's group Purpose.
